I have always had a love for learning and have pursued knowledge my whole life.  My interests in business and ministry have found a creative outlet at Northwest Christian.  I grew up in Springfield and attended the University of Oregon.  There was never any doubt that I would go to college but after that it was a little hazier.  But through prayer and good advice, I went to seminary and into ministry for 25 years before I felt the draw to teach at the college level.  I have had a lifelong interest in history and I enjoy studying the history of business; I collect old business books (before 1920).  I usually teach accounting, finance, and business ethics.  I enjoy being involved at my church and at the state level of church activities.
