Monday, February 15

Root Beer Floats
Cafeteria (12:00 pm)
Enjoy a good 'ol fashioned Root Beer Float in the cafeteria at noon. Floats will be served in the Homecoming 2010 souvenir stadium cup.

Tuesday, February 16

Spirit Shirt Design
Rug Room (9:00 pm)
The ASNCU Activities Committee is sponsoring this annual event where students have the opportunity to come and make their own spirit shirts. Paint and shirts are supplied.

Wednesday, February 17

Class vs. Class KickBall
Morse Event Center (9:00 pm)
Come battle against your fellow classmates in this indoor kickball competition! May the best team win!

Thursday, February 18

Battle of the Talents
Banquet Room (9:00 pm)
Show off your best talent as you compete against your fellow classmates to be deemed the person with the best talent. Whether it's singing, rapping, poetry reading, playing an instrument, telling jokes, etc., this is your time to shine!

Class Without Quizzes Session 1
Pomajevich Faculty Building Room 103 (9:00 am)
Mass Media Law & Ethics - A brief overview of mass media issues and the influence media has on audiences. Students study mass media law and ethics in terms of movies, newspapers, radio, television, magazines, the internet, etc. Christian ethics are applied to pop cultural trends as well as our use of media in communication. Presented by Adjunct Instructor Polina Yemelyanova.

Class Without Quizzes Session 2

Ideas Matter: Engaging World Thought & Culture - This second-year series of courses explores foundational themes in the diverse religious, literary, cultural, artistic, historic, and political expressions that have shaped the world. Major movements in religion, science, government, philosophy, economics, etc., are treated as part and parcel to the concerns of these courses. Presented by Professor Mck Bollenbaugh, Ph.D. and Associate Professor Steven Goetz, Ph.D.

The 2010 Homecoming Chapel will include Pastor Bob Scroggins '74 from Wayside Chapel as the keynote speaker.

Enjoy visiting with former classmates and friends at this informal lunch buffet. A brief musical program will be provided by NCU's premier touring ensemble, Virtue.

Goodrich Path Dedication Service
Goodrich Administration Building (1:30 pm)
Over 250 bricks were purchased by alumni, faculty, staff, and students of NCU in support of the Goodrich Giver Campaign. Join us in honoring our past, present, and future as we dedicate the Goodrich Path.

Campus Tour
Admissions Office (2:00 pm)
Led by NCU student admission counselors, this walking tour will take you through remembered hallways and favorite hangouts as well as new buildings on campus.

Beacon Basketball vs. Corban College
Morse Event Center (Women - 5:30 pm/Men - 7:30 pm)
Reunion attendees will receive one free item at game concessions when showing your reunion nametag. Admission cost is $5 for adults, $3 for youth (12-18). Children under 12 admitted free. Cost includes admission to both men's and women's games.

Camp Harlow (immediately following men's basketball)
End homecoming week with this NCU longstanding tradition! After the men's basketball game, join the entire NCU community with s'mores, singing, and fellowship.

Oh, How the Years Go By!

Enjoy the fellowship of classmates and friends as you reminisce about your college days and share about your families, careers, and lives since graduation day. Be sure to bring your yearbooks and family photos to help tell your story! A continental-style breakfast will be served.

Rare Bibles Viewing
Kellenberger Library (10:30 am)
Library Director Steve Silver will highlight some unique manuscripts as you view items from the Rare Bible collection of NCU, including original editions up to 600 years old. The viewing will also include the newly received World War II survivor, Torah Scroll.

Alumni Awards Gala
Valley River Inn (5:00 pm - Reception/6:00 pm - Seating for Dinner)
Culminate your reunion weekend with this special evening honoring alumni and friends. Bruce Hanna '96 will be honored as this year's Distinguished Alumnus of the Year and Mindy Knight Lockard '98 will be honored as the Young Alumni Leader of the Year. Both awards are new this year to Northwest Christian. The evening will also include the Golden Society induction ceremony for the class of 1960 and special recognition for those attendees celebrating their 55th, 60th, 65th, 70th and beyond anniversaries.
Cost is $40 per person and includes full course dinner with choice of entree, dessert, and coffee.
