Disability Services

The mission of Disability Services is to advocate for and facilitate equal access to educational opportunities for students with qualified disabilities.

General Overview

1. The student must contact Disability Services and supply appropriate documentation outlining the nature of the disability and recommendations for accommodation.
2. In collaboration, the student and disabilities officer will draft a memo to each of the student’s professors that lists the reasonable accommodations.
3. The student is responsible for delivering the memo to each professor in person. 
4. The student and professor should discuss the exact process for implementing them.  The professor will sign the memo in agreement to the accommodations. 
5. The student must repeat the process each semester.
